Hawk Pointe hosts Successful Member Golf Day; NJSGA Supported by Partners
WASHINGTON, NEW JERSEY – A full field of 116 players enjoyed the final New Jersey State Golf Association Member Golf Day of the summer this past Monday, August 26 at Hawk Pointe Golf Club in Washington. Under sunny and warm skies, NJSGA members from throughout the state enjoyed top-tier amenities, camaraderie, and fun.
On hand to support the NJSGA were two of its corporate partners, Donnelly Industries, the Official Construction and Energy Partner of the NJSGA, and the association’s newest partner, MoleSafe, with whom the NJSGA has begun a skin cancer awareness and prevention campaign.
Donnelly Industries, is in the midst of an exterior porch construction project at Hawk Pointe, greeted golfers with giveaways.
MoleSafe held a Closest to the Hole contest and provided skin care products to dozens of appreciative NJSGA members. It was the first visit to an NJSGA event by MoleSafe, and the team was excited to interact with golfers.
Jennifer Zando, Vice President of Professional Relations for MoleSafe, spoke of the day and the new relationship. “MoleSafe was thrilled to participate in Member Golf Day at Hawk Pointe Golf Club, further strengthening our partnership with the NJSGA. The event was a fantastic opportunity to engage directly with the golf community, and share our expertise in skin cancer prevention and early detection. Our collaboration with NJSGA continues to grow, and we're proud to support their members in maintaining both their love for the game and their health.”
As for the competition, the team of Jim Rinaldi, Jim Petronchak, Michael Jeffries and Richard Newport won the Best-Ball-of-Four competition with an impressive 13-under par 59.
