The NJSGA’s “Wednesday Roundup” will run weekly through the 2024 golf season. This weekly news summary will feature local stories and news from throughout #thestateofgolf.   • Arjun Caprihan of Florham Park won the UHY Albany Junior Championship at 14-under par 196. Mihir Roperia of Cranbury placed fourth. 

  • Brendan Hunt, Tyler McArdell, Danny Harcourt, Lowell Miller, and Dave Vasquez qualified for the National Car Rental Assistant PGA Professional Championship in Port St. Lucie, Florida November 14-17. (Click for more

  • The 37th U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship will get underway on Saturday, September 7 at Brae Burn Country Club in Massachusetts and six women from New Jersey - Hana Ku, Mary McGuiness, Samantha Perrotta, Christina Parsells, Alyssa Roland and Kate Granahan will be competing.   • 2022 New Jersey Women’s Amateur Champion Katie Lu was tabbed Preseason honorable mention All-American. (Click for more

  • The Seton Hall University men's golf team won the Lagowitz Memorial at Seven Oaks GC in New York. (Click for more)

  • The 11th Annual R.A. Schiavone Memorial Cup Pro/Senior Scratch Event will be held on Tuesday, October 15 and Wednesday, October 16 at Forsgate Country Club. For more information, please contact Michael Furey at michaelfurey@forsgatecc.com.  

  • The TJ DiMarco Golf Outing will be hosted Monday, September 9th at Old Bridge Golf Club at Rose Lambertson. Proceeds will benefit the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Association and TJ’s Children’s College Fund. (Click for more

  • The Scholarship Fund for Inner-City Children is hosting a golf outing at Canoe Brook Country Club on September 25. The SFIC provides children in need with an opportunity to receive a high-quality education in a safe environment. (Click for more

  • Kids’ Chance of New Jersey is hosting an event at Scotland Run on September 30. Kids’ Chance of New Jersey is a 501c3 that provides scholarships to children. (Click for more

  • The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation’s Jersey Shore Golf Tournament will be held on October 10 at Deal Country Club. (Click for more

  • Rutgers University Men’s Golf is hosting the 7th annual Hackberry Invitational on Friday, September 27 at the Rutgers University Golf Course. This event will celebrate the 88th year of the Men’s Golf program. (Click for more)  

  • Spectum360 will be hosting their Annual Fore the Kids Golf Tournament on Monday, September 9 at Crestmont Country Club. Spectrum360 provides people with autism and those with related challenges the specialized programs and support they need. (Click for more

  • On Monday, September 23, the West Morris Area YMCA will host their 2nd Annual Charity Golf Tournament at Panther Valley Golf and Country Club. This event will support the YMCA’s financial assistance fund. There are several opportunities to participate in the event. (Click for more
