The NJSGA’s “Wednesday Roundup” will run weekly through the 2023 golf season. This weekly news summary will feature local stories and news from throughout #thestateofgolf.   • Michigan State junior, Katie Lu continued her hot start to the fall season. Lu fired a 6-under par 66 on the final day of the Glass City Invitational, held at The Inverness Club in Toledo, Ohio finishing second and helping lead Michigan State to a third-place finish. (Click for more)
  • Following a second-place finish at last week's VCU Shootout, Cole Ekert has been named Atlantic 10 Co-Golfer of the Week. Ekert carded rounds of 65 (-7), 69 (-3), and 69 (-3) to tie for second in the field at 13-under par (203), the lowest tournament score in Richmond program history. (Click for more)
  •  The annual NJPGA/NJSGA Celebration of Golf will take place on Thursday, Oct. 26, at Canoe Brook Country Club. The event will run from 6-9 p.m. with cocktails and passed hors d' oeuvres from 6:00-6:45 with dinner and program running from 6:45 - 9:00 p.m. (Click for more)
  • Max Greyserman, 2014 New Jersey Open Champion and 2015 New Jersey Amateur Champion, has secured his PGA Tour Card for 2024. Greyserman stands at No. 11 on the Korn Ferry Tour Points List with just two events remaining in the 2023 season securing his top-30 position. (Click for more
  • The ArcMorris Autumn Golf Classic returns in 2023 on Oct. 23 at Basking Ridge Country Club. ArcMorris is a nonprofit that provides services for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. The day will consist of a four-person scramble with a shotgun start as well as continental breakfast, boxed lunch, cocktails, buffet dinner, raffle and a silent auction. (Click for more)
