The NJSGA’s “Wednesday Roundup” will run weekly through the 2023 golf season. This weekly news summary will feature local stories and news from throughout #thestateofgolf.   • New Jersey’s Jason Bataille has advanced to the Round of 16 in the 42nd U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship at Sleepy Hollow Country Club. Mark Costanza and Troy Vannucci both made match play in the championship, falling in the Round of 32 and Round of 64, respectively. (Click for more
  • At the U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship, Alyssa Roland of Short Hills made a solid run to the Round of 16, but fell just short of the Quarterfinals. (Click for more
  • Megha Ganne was recently named to the Annika Award preseason watch list. Each year the award honors the player of the year in college women’s golf, as selected by college golfers, coaches and members of the college golf media. Ganne is currently in her sophomore season at Stanford. (Click for more)
  • The USGA announced that Montclair Golf Club will be the host site for the 2026 U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship. A founding-club of the NJSGA, Montclair has previously hosted two USGA championships, the 1973 U.S. Women’s Amateur and the 1985 U.S. Amateur. (Click for more)
