The NJSGA’s “Wednesday Roundup” will run weekly through the 2023 golf season. This weekly news summary will feature local stories and news from throughout #thestateofgolf.   • The New Jersey-native trio of Max Greyserman, (No. 9), Chris Gotterup (No. 23) and Ryan McCormick (No. 27), all officially earned their 2024 PGA TOUR Card last weekend after claiming a spot inside the top-30 on the Korn Ferry Tour points list. (Click for more)
  • The First Tee Team Challenge will take place at Deal Golf & Country Club on Oct. 17. Teams of two golfers compete to emerge victorious as the Team Challenge champions with all money raised going to support First Tee's impactful Fairways for All programming. (Click for more)
  • The annual NJPGA/NJSGA Celebration of Golf will take place on Thursday, Oct. 26, at Canoe Brook Country Club. The event will run from 6-9 p.m. with cocktails and passed hors d' oeuvres from 6:00-6:45 with dinner and program running from 6:45 - 9:00 p.m. (Click for more)
  • Featuring 18 holes of golf with local, on-course craft beer tastings, lunch, and a post event cocktail and awards reception, the third Annual Craft Beer Open will take place on Oct. 23, at the Crestmont Country Club with 100 percent of the proceeds go to The Arc of Essex County.   • The ArcMorris Autumn Golf Classic returns in 2023 on Oct. 23 at Basking Ridge Country Club. ArcMorris is a nonprofit that provides services for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. The day will consist of a four-person scramble with a shotgun start as well as continental breakfast, boxed lunch, cocktails, buffet dinner, raffle and a silent auction. (Click for more)
