The NJSGA’s “Wednesday Roundup” will run weekly through the 2023 golf season. This weekly news summary will feature local stories and news from throughout #thestateofgolf. - The Lady Liberty Cup, a Ryder Cup style tournament the annual two-day event will again take place at Liberty National Golf Club, the same venue as where the inaugural 2022 Lady Liberty Cup took place last year. The special event brings together 12 elite junior golfers utilizing their talents (on and off the course) to support and raise funds for Minds Matter, an organization whose mission aims to enhance academic and lifelong opportunities for deserving students from less-resourced communities. - Katie Li will compete in the the Junior Invitational, recognized by Golfweek as the top junior event in golf gets underway on Thursday at Sage Valley Golf Club in Graniteville, South Carolina. (Click for more)
- Megha Ganne of Holmdel was tabbed to the ANNIKA Award Watch List that was announced this past week, which features 15 of the best women’s college golfers this season. (Click for more)
- Noah Kumar of Rutgers tallied a top-5 finish at the Johnnie-O at Sea Island. (Click for more)
- The USGA has announced its third annual Junior Poster Design Contest. The winning posters will be displayed on-site at the 78th U.S. Women’s Open Championship at Pebble Beach (Calif.) Golf Links from July 6-9, 2023. (Click for more)
- Registration is available for the LPGA Amateur Golf Association of Coastal New Jersey Tee Off luncheon on March 25, 2023. The afternoon will feature prize giveaways, lunch, a mini fashion show, and a guest speaker. (Click for more)
- The NJPGA will be hosting a Teaching & Coaching Summit on March 28 at Tee 2 Green Indoor Golf. (Click for more)
- Despite the sporadic snow, many golf courses are still open throughout the winter. The NJSGA compiled a list of courses open for play. (Click for more)
- Tickets are now available for all four LPGA events that are being conducted in New Jersey this season. (Click for more)
- New Jersey Championships are now open as of March 1, 2023. Competitors must have an active Golf Genius profile. (Click for more)
- Tickets are now on sale for the NJSGA Golf Summit set for March 23 from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Galloping Hill Golf Course. (Click for more)
- Tickets are now available for purchase for the 2023 NJSGA Hall of Fame induction ceremony featuring three standout individuals in Oswald Kirkby, Robert Trent Jones, Sr., and Ann Probert. (Click for more)
- Entries are open for the several USGA Championships, including the 123rd U.S. Open (Closes April 12), 43rd U.S. Senior Open (Closes May 3), 78th U.S. Women’s Open (Closes May 3) and the 2nd U.S. Adaptive Open (Closes May 3). (Click to register)
