- Mark McCormick, Head Golf Professional at Suburban Golf Club, will take part in the 43rd U.S. Senior Open at SentryWorld in Stevens Point, Wisc., this week. McCormick will tee off hole 10 at 7 a.m. EST on Thursday. (Click for more)
- N.J.-natives Katie Li, Megan Meng and Sarah Shao are competing in the Polo Golf Jr Classic at Bethpage State Park Golf Course this week. (Click for more)
- The New Jersey duo of Melan Dhaubhadel and Christian Cavaliere found themselves tied atop the leaderboard for the 68th Ike MGA Stroke Play Championship at Brooklawn Country Club in Fairfield, Conn., following three rounds of play. Dhaubhadel took home the title following a three-hole aggregate playoff. (Click for more)
- The Shackamaxon Member Golf Day scheduled for June 26 was postponed due to PM storms and has been re-scheduled for July 10 with limited spaces available. (Click for more)
- Rory (-6) and Michael Asselta (-5) picked up a second and third place finish, respectively, over two days as part of the AJGA Junior All-Star at Windham Country Club in Windham, N.Y. Angela Liang earned a T2 finish in the event with a two-day score of two-under par, 142 following a three-hole playoff. (Click for more)
- Caddie Scholarship Foundation Alumni & Friends Golf Outing will take place at Galloping Hill Golf Course on Tuesday, August 1. Alumni and current caddie scholars are invited to join friends of the Caddie Scholarship Foundation to partake in a day that will feature a continental breakfast, 18 holes of golf with a cart, a barbecue lunch, prizes, and raffles. - On Monday, Aug. 14, 1,000+ Holes of Golf are calling for junior and adult golfers to get together and play 1,000+ holes at Deer Run Golf Club. Players will raise funds for Fighting Children’s Cancer Foundation. Participants at other locations are welcome to contribute to this fundraiser virtually by playing at your own golf courses and campaigning for donations. (Click for more)
- Registration is now open to volunteer for the Korn Ferry Tour Magnit Championship at Metedeconk National Golf Club. Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age as of the first day of tournament week unless a parent or legal guardian signs the waiver in the volunteer registration. Junior volunteers must be ages 13 – 17. Please note, junior volunteers can volunteer only for certain committees outlined in registration. (Click for more)
- The USGA has a new one-stop shop showcases upgraded features and synergy with redesigned website. For the first time, the USGA App will feature live scoring and coverage of all 15 USGA championships through an elevated user experience that will provide a more engaging digital landscape for fans to immerse themselves in their national championships. - Registration is now open for the 21st New Jersey Evans Scholars Classic at Hawk Pointe Golf Club on July 17. (Click for more)
- Entries are open for the several USGA Championships, 68th U.S. Senior Amateur (Closes July 5) and 61st U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur (Closes August 9). (Click to register)
