- Katie Li (Basking Ridge) was a semifinalist in last week’s U.S. Girls’ Junior championship played at Columbia Country Club in Chevy Chase, Maryland. The 16-year old Li finished 57th in stroke play and then won four consecutive matches. (Click for more)
- Three New Jersey junior golfers are competing this week in the U.S. Junior Amateur at the Country Club of North Carolina: Dean Greyserman, Cole Ekert, and Barnes Blake. Ekert qualified for the match play portion of the event. All three recently competed in the 120th NJSGA Amateur Championship presented by Provident Bank. (Click for more)
- Three Rutgers University golfers have qualified to compete in the U.S. Amateur Championship at Oakmont Country Club in Oakmont, Pennsylvania on August 9-15: rising junior Xavier Marcoux, rising sophomore Rhett Sellers, and incoming freshman Weston Jones. (Click for more)
- Angelina Tolentino, 14, of Mount Laurel, qualified for the U.S. Women’s Amateur championship at Westchester Country Club in Rye, New York, scheduled to be played August 2-8. (Click for more)
- Two members in the same foursome at High Bridge Hills Country Club recorded hole in ones on the same hole. Robert Bodor and Kevin Kane each recorded a hole in one on No. 6 at High Bridge, which was playing 97 yards.
