The NJSGA’s “Wednesday Roundup” will run weekly through the 2022 golf season. This weekly news summary will feature local stories and news from throughout #thestateofgolf.   • The U.S. Women’s Amateur gets underway August 8th and several New Jersey natives will be competing at Chambers Bay Golf Course in Washington. Megha Ganne (Holmdel), Katie Li (Basking Ridge), Kelly Sim (Edgewater) and Ami Gianchandani (Watchung) will be representing the Garden State. (Click for more)
  • From August 2-5, Angelina Tolentino (Mount Laurel) and Katie Li (Basking Ridge), Megan Meng (Pennington) and Madeleine Zang (Princeton) are competing in the 2022 Junior PGA Championships at Cog Hill Golf & Country Club in Illinois. (Click for more)
  • The New Jersey Senior PGA Professional Championship is underway at Black Oak Golf Club. After the first round on Tuesday, Frank Esposito and Ed Whitman shared the lead. (Click for more)
  • Chris Gotterup will make yet another start on the PGA Tour after earning a sponsor exemption into the Wyndham Championship at Sedgefield Country Club. (Click for more)
  • On the Korn Ferry Tour, Max Greyserman (Short Hills) and Ryan McCormick (Middletown) are competing in the Utah Championship presented by Zions Bank from August 4-7. (Click for more)
  • Jack Wall of Brielle is competing in the historic Western Amateur Championship at Exmoor Country Club in Illinois. (Click for more)
  • The Monmouth County Park System Junior Championship is set for August 9th at Bel-Aire Golf Course. Registration is open. (Click for registration)
  • Tickets are now available for the 122nd U.S. Amateur at The Ridgewood Country Club and Arcola Country Club. (Click for more)
  • Volunteer opportunities are now available for the 122nd U.S. Amateur which include walking scorers, marshals/forecaddies, standard bearers, tee services, operations and caddie services. Young adults ages 16-21 are able to volunteer for free. (Click for more)
  • The Theater Project is hosting a golf outing at Crystal Springs on September 29. The fundraiser supports theater arts. (Click for more)
  • Entries are open for the several USGA Championships, including the U.S. Amateur Four-Ball (Closes Aug. 10), U.S. Women's Amateur Four-Ball (Closes Aug. 10). (Click to register)
