The NJSGA’s “Wednesday Roundup” will run weekly through the 2023 golf season. This weekly news summary will feature local stories and news from throughout #thestateofgolf.   • The Big 10 Men’s Championship will head to the Garden State as Galloway National Golf Club will host the tournament from April 28-30. (Click for more)
  • 2022 New Jersey Amateur Runner-up Will Huang helped lead Princeton University to the Ivy League Conference Championship. He posted a t-4 individual finish. (Click for more)
  • 2019 New Jersey Open Champion Chris Gotterup recorded a t-5 finish at the LECOM Suncoast Classic on the Korn Ferry Tour. Max Greyserman finished t-22, while Ryan McCormick finished t-47. (Click for more)
  • Eight New Jersey PGA Professionals in Brian Gaffney, Joel Boulanger, Nick Bova, Brent Paladino, Bill Hook, Tommy Lee, Brian Krulfeifer and Craig Smith are competing in the 2023 PGA Professional Championship April 30-May 3. (Click for more)
  • Megan Meng of Hopewell Valley made Mercer County Tournament history, winning the boys event at Mercer Oaks Golf Course. She's committed to play golf at Northwestern University. (Click for more)
  • Pat Scenna of Wall High School won the Monmouth County Tournament on April 19 at Howell Park Golf Course. (Click for more)
  • Reed Greyserman announced his commitment to attend Princeton University and play golf. (Click for more)
  • The New Jersey Golf Foundation and the New Jersey State Golf Association Youth Foundation are joining together to host a charity auction with all the proceeds benefiting the two organizations. The online auction, which is now available for bidding and comes to a conclusion on April 30, features foursomes at over 50 golf courses around the Garden State. (Click for more)
  • Registration is now open to volunteer for the Korn Ferry Tour Magnit Championship at Metedeconk National Golf Club. Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age as of the first day of tournament week unless a parent or legal guardian signs the waiver in the volunteer registration. Junior volunteers must be ages 13 – 17. Please note, junior volunteers can volunteer only for certain committees outlined in registration. (Click for more)
  • The USGA has a new one-stop shop showcases upgraded features and synergy with redesigned website. For the first time, the USGA App will feature live scoring and coverage of all 15 USGA championships through an elevated user experience that will provide a more engaging digital landscape for fans to immerse themselves in their national championships.  (Click for more)
  • Tickets are now available for all four LPGA events that are being conducted in New Jersey this season. (Click for more)
  • Registration is now open for the 21st New Jersey Evans Scholars Classic at Hawk Pointe Golf Club on July 17. (Click for more)
  • Registration is now open for the Inaugural Evans East Coast Cup at Hollywood Golf Club (Click for more)
  • Tickets are now available for purchase for the 2023 NJSGA Hall of Fame induction ceremony featuring three standout individuals in Oswald Kirkby, Robert Trent Jones, Sr., and Ann Probert. (Click for more)
  • Entries are open for the several USGA Championships, including the 43rd U.S. Senior Open (Closes May 3), 78th U.S. Women’s Open (Closes May 3) and the 2nd U.S. Adaptive Open (Closes May 3),68th U.S. Senior Amateur (Closes July 5) and 61st U.S. Senior Women’s Amateur (Closes August 9). (Click to register)
