UTE Attracts Record Participation at Neshanic Valley
NESHANIC STATION, N.J. - The Ultimate Team Event (UTE) on August 19 was a great day of golf, networking, and competition at Neshanic Valley Golf Course.
The continuous 27-hole format included club members and the NJSGA E-Club throughout New Jersey competing against other twosomes. A record 160 players participated in the all-day event, which featured breakfast, golf, lunch and an awards reception.
The UTE is scored using the Stableford Points System with Net and Gross scoring. The Meadow and Lake courses played 18-holes of Four-Ball, as Ridge 9 was formatted to Pinehurst.
Intriguing prizes were up for grabs, highlighted by the grand prize, an overnight stay and play at Seaview Resort and the exclusive Galloway National Golf Club.
