U.S. Women's Open At Trump-bedminster Seeks Marketing Intern
The 72nd U.S. Women’s Open, to be conducted next summer at Trump National Golf Club at Bedminster is seeking a marketing ticket sales coordinator intern to begin work at the club this month.
The job description: October 2016 – August 2017
• 10-20 hours per week in 2016
• 25+ hours January – May 2017, Full time June - August, 2017

OVERVIEW:
The 72nd U.S. Women’s Open Championship, conducted by the United States Golf Association, will be contested at Trump National Bedminster, July 10-16. More than 85,000 spectators are anticipated and it will be broadcast worldwide on live television including national coverage on Fox and Fox Sports.
POSITION TITLE: Marketing Internship
REPORTING TO: John Dolan, Championship Director
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assisting the Championship Director and staff with daily tasks as assigned
• Assist with marketing and media campaigns
• Manage existing promotions, identify and negotiate new promotional opportunities
• Ticket management – inventory fulfillment, ticket sales
• Writing and editing of championship e-newsletters, website content, and social media
• Admissions office and media center coordination during championship
• Assist in other aspects of the championship including volunteers, operations and corporate sales
Requirements include:
• Good organizational, problem solving, verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic knowledge of PC software systems, including word processing, database software and spreadsheets
• Golf knowledge a plus
• Ability to lift heavy items and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Access to a vehicle
• Design software experience
• Flexible work schedule including some nights and weekends
