Heavy storms interrupted and suspended play on August 6. With a tie still in place, a new date will be set for a hole-by-hole playoff to determine the champion.

Playing in their first Father and Son Championship, the DiTullios used a strong round off the tee and a solid short game on the road to the top of the leaderboard.

“We both got off the tee pretty well today. My dad hit a lot of close iron shots that gave us a couple of kick-in birdies,” said Tommy.

“If I drove the ball well, it gave Tommy a few good shots in which was the goal for the day,” said Frank.

Despite a bogey on the third hole, the DiTullios bounced back in a big way and were consistent throughout the day. Highlighted by four birdies, including three on the back nine, the duo made it a point to enjoy the day together and finish strong.

“We didn’t putt particularly well on the front but then we got it going on the back including a few big up and downs,” said Tommy.

“We really enjoyed the time spent together. We were just having fun and when it came to the golf, whatever happened, happened,” said Frank.

The Parker team used three consecutive, clutch birdies to close out their round and finish at 3-under.

“We just made some putts,” said Elliot.

“It was pretty good. We had like twelve feet left on the final putt, Elliot read it and I putted,” said Dann.

Overall, the Parker duo racked up seven birdies on the afternoon.

“It’s a lot of fun playing in this event,” said Elliot. “It’s a great end to the season.”

“You can’t replace these memories. It’s awesome,” said Dann.
