Tickets Available for Youth Foundation Benefit Raffle; Grand Prize is Streamsong Resort Getaway

JUNE 30, 2023 - Tickets for the New Jersey State Golf Association Youth Foundation Raffle are now on sale. The cost per ticket is $50.00; all proceeds will benefit the NJSGA Youth Foundation which awards grants to local charitable and youth organizations. A total of six prizes will be awarded, highlighted by the grand prize which is a golf trip to Streamsong Resort in Florida, air fare included, for two nights and four rounds of golf for two people. Playing opportunities at some of New Jersey's top clubs are also available, as well as apparel and other items. The drawing will be held on Wednesday evening, July 19 at Hackensack Golf Club during the Youth Foundation Pro-Am post-golf reception.

  • GRAND PRIZE - The winner will receive 2 nights & 4 rounds of golf for 2 at Streamsong Resort (Generously donated by Streamsong Resort)
  • 2nd Prize - The Bergen Tour - Hackensack GC, Ridgewood CC, Arcola CC.
  • 3rd Prize – The Jersey Tour –Forest Hill FC, Somerset Hills (3), Plainfield CC, and Canoe Brook CC
  • 4th Prize – The Shore Tour – Manasquan River GC, Metedeconk National GC, Spring Lake GC
  • 5th Prize – Peter Millar Golf Outfit
  • 6th Prize – Jones Sports light weight Carry Bag (donated by Richie Gibbons)

"The Youth Foundation gives the New Jersey golf community an opportunity to join us in raising funds for needy youth groups throughout our state," said NJSGA Youth Foundation Chairman Frank O'Brien. "There are a number of ways that our patrons can participate namely as a golf participant, hole sponsor or the purchase of a book of raffle tickets. You can be assured that your kindness will benefit young children in need."

In 2022, the NJSGA Youth Foundation raised over $35,000 in raffle ticket sales, in addition to entry fees collected for the annual Pro-Am and individual sponsorships and donations. Combined, the Foundation raised a record of more than $90,000. Seventeen different local charitable organizations were the recipients of grants which were subsidized by funds raised through these initiatives.
