Scholars Recognized At Annual Echo Lake Breakfast

Echo Lake Country Club’s Caddie Scholarship Committee hosted its annual breakfast ceremony to honor the Club’s past and present Caddie Scholars. Club representative Brian Steller welcomed the generous members who continue to support this first class program. Echo Lake ranked second in the state for the most monies raised in 2014 at $47,225. Neighboring club Baltusrol was the number one contributor at $70,145.

Also in attendance were Caddie Master Marty Crown, Controller Catherine Rose, and parents of both past and present Caddie Scholars, who attend the function every year to report on life after graduation. The Chandler, Gilligan, and Fusco families were recognized for their respective “special scholarships” awarded only to Echo Lake caddies.

For the 2015-16 academic year, twenty Echo Lake Country Club Caddie Scholars are receiving $86,400 in scholarship aid.
