Play will resume on Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start. Following the completion of the first round, a cut will be made with the low 40 players (+ ties) advancing to the final round.

Defending champion Morten Gotterup and Michael Guli share the clubhouse lead, carding an even-par 72. Guli remained steady throughout the tumultuous weather throughout his round.

"I kept it in play off the tee,” Guli reflected. “I didn't try to do too much, just really played within myself. Given the conditions, I didn't hit too many drivers. My caddy was with me the whole time, getting me to stick to the game plan, get it in play, hit the greens and have a couple of birdie chances. I made a couple and missed a couple, but overall I’m happy. Between the wind and the rain, the jacket coming on and coming off and the place was set up great and the course was in great shape -- All in all, besides the weather, it was just a fun day of golf.”
