Rafter and Fenton Wins 9th Women’s Four-Ball Championship at Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club

BEDMINSTER, N.J. – Colleen Rafter and Mary Fenton won the 9th Women's Four-Ball Championship on Wednesday, October 20 at Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club. The pair shot a 5-over par 76 on the Meadow Course at Fiddler's. In the net division, Miki Melzer and Becky Bedrosian won with a six-under par 65 on a match of cards.
"It feels wonderful," said Mary Fenton. "I picked the right partner! That's all I can say."
"It was the long drives and I managed to get some putts in," said Fenton.
The pair put together two birdies and 10 pars en route to their first victory as a team.

"Mary made sure that we never had more than a bogey," said Colleen Rafter. "We played it safe and played it smart. She let me come off the leash a little bit with the distance so that 1-2 I think was the key."
