Player Of Year Trevor Randolph Honored By Global Golf Post
Trevor Randolph of Arcola, the NJGA Player of the Year, received an international honor from the Global Golf Post, which named him honorable mention to the worldwide All-Mid-Amateur Team.
The Nov. 28, 2016 issue of Global Golf Post named All-Amateur teams for both men and women in three categories: Amateur, Mid-Amateur and Senior Amateur.
Randolph was the only New Jersey resident listed on any of the teams although New jersey native mike Muehr of Potomac Falls, Va., was named second team All-Mid Amateur by Global Golf Post.

This year, Randolph enjoyed a tremendous season, winning the Met Mid-Am, NJSGA Mid-Am, the Travis Memorial and the Hochster Memorial and was runner-up at the New York City Am and Bergen Amateur.
The 43-year-old from Franklin Lakes won the 33rd NJSGA Mid-Amateur Championship for the third time in four years at Spring Lake Golf Club in May.
With a 5 and 3 finals victory on Thursday, May 12, over 2012 champion Brian Komline of Black Oak, Randolph became the third golfer to win three Mid-Amateur titles, matching Bruce Young of Harkers Hollow (1992, ’94 and ’95) and Tom Gramigna of Tavistock (2002, ’03 and ’05).
To cap his season, he repeated as titlist at the 10th annual Metropolitan Golf Association Mid-Amateur Championship at Tamarack Country Club in Greenwich, Conn.
Enjoying his best season, Randolph rallied to win by one stroke after a horrendous first hole almost derailed his bid to become the first from the Garden State to repeat in this age 35-and-over event.
