NJSGA Statement regarding COVID-19; Event Updates
March 18, 2020 – The New Jersey State Golf Association continues to monitor developments surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, and will adhere to guidelines established by the CDC as they apply to all NJSGA functions.
With respect to the conduct upcoming tournaments and competitions, the NJSGA will fully abide by the directives of local, state and national agencies. Any decision with respect to cancellation or postponement will be made in accordance with such directives and will be made no later than two weeks prior to an event. In all cases, the NJSGA will base decisions upon assuring the best health and safety of players, officials, and those at our host clubs who are essential to conducting events.
For now, entries remain open for all 2020 championships; the schedule can be accessed by clicking here. In the event that a tournament is postponed or cancelled, entrants will be refunded in full. Member Golf Day registration will become available at a future time, based upon developments with respect to the ongoing health situation.
