NJSGA Joins Forces with Club Benchmarking
The New Jersey State Golf Association has joined forces with Club Benchmarking to provide NJSGA member clubs actionable, real-time data from Club Benchmarking’s Strategic Monthly Dashboard (SMD). This is a free service to the industry and the NJSGA. After reviewing the features and functionality of the SMD, NJSGA leadership believes this to be a tremendous resource that can provide NJSGA clubs with near real-time benchmarking data and market intelligence.
"Club Benchmarking has a demonstrated history as being a valuable resource to clubs nationwide. We believe this service, including access to their research and articles available through the Club Benchmarking web site, are of great benefit to our member clubs," said Kevin Purcell, NJSGA Executive Director.
NJSGA has set-up a benchmarking group through the SMD with Club Benchmarking. Participating clubs will have 24/7 online access to monthly reports on membership, cost of belonging, initiation fees and joining trends, and financial trends. The Dashboard also includes an Executive Summary Report which is updated monthly and a Power Analysis feature that allows advanced filtering and reports. As a member of the NJSGA, a club's participation in this initiative provides access to specialized peer group benchmarking, education and support. The data submitted by all clubs is kept in the strictest confidence.
The monthly time commitment for data submission is typically less than 20 minutes. Monthly data will be aggregated and analyzed by Club Benchmarking according to their recognized, industry leading standards for data security and confidentiality, so no individual club’s data will ever be identified or visible to any other participant.
