The Barclays TICKETS Fore CHARITYTM program off to a stellar start
Nearly 50 charities already on board; 21 percent toward goal

Paramus, N.J. - The Barclays 2014 is proud to once again give New York and New Jersey charities the
opportunity to participate in TICKETS Fore CHARITY™, a unique fundraising initiative designed to improve
the quality of life in the communities where PGA TOUR tournaments are held. The TICKETS Fore CHARITY
2014 program launched on April 22 at a kickoff breakfast at Ridgewood Country Club. Over the past four weeks,
48 organizations have signed up to participate (see list at the end of this press release) and have generated $42,000
toward the tournament’s goal of raising $200,000 through the program this year.

The Barclays, the first event in the FedExCup Playoffs, will feature the top 125 players on TOUR, August 19-24
at Ridgewood Country Club in Paramus, N.J.

Through TICKETS Fore CHARITY, The Barclays provides 501(c)(3) organizations with the opportunity to
promote tournament tickets to benefit their organization. Best of all, 100 percent of the net proceeds from the
ticket sales (net proceeds exclude tax or processing fees) will go to charity: 75 percent to the charity promoting the
tickets; and 25 percent to The First Tee of Metropolitan New York. The First Tee is an initiative of the World
Golf Foundation aimed at positively impacting the lives of young people by providing learning facilities and
educational programs that promote character development and life-enhancing values through the game of golf.

“This is an incredible opportunity to raise unlimited funds for participating charities, with very little overhead,”
said The Barclays Executive Director Peter Mele. “Fans will have an opportunity to witness the very best the PGA
TOUR has to offer and generate revenue for charities in New York and New Jersey during a time when these
organizations need our help more than ever. We’d like to invite charities throughout the area to join us in
enhancing and enriching our local communities by participating in TICKETS Fore CHARITY.”

Since the program began in 2009, more than $890,000 has been generated for local non-profits through TICKETS
Fore CHARITY alone.

There are two types of tickets available through TICKETS Fore CHARITY: a weekly grounds ticket for $125;
and a good-any-one-day grounds ticket for $65. The weekly grounds ticket is valid for each day of the
tournament from Tuesday, August 19, through Sunday, August 24. The good-any-one-day grounds ticket
provides access for any one day of the tournament from Tuesday, August 19, through Sunday, August 24. Tickets
can be purchased at www.buytfc.com.

The PGA TOUR, its players and tournaments support more than 3,000 charities nationwide. These local and
national organizations benefit a variety of causes, positively impacting the lives of millions in the communities
where PGA TOUR tournaments are held. In 2012, The Barclays donated $1.4 million to local charities. Charity
totals from the 2013 will be announced in June.
