NJSGA Schedule Updates (June 17)
June 17, 2020 – Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the New Jersey State Golf Association has announced additional changes to its schedule. The full, and most up-to-date schedule can be accessed here.
The Junior Girls’ Championship will be held on Monday and Tuesday, July 27-28 at Morris County Golf Club in Morristown. This championship will be held simultaneously with the 36-hole, stroke play qualifying portion of the NJSGA Women’s Amateur Championship and along with the Women's Mid-Amateur Championship. A player can register for the Junior Girls' only for the $50 fee, or can register for the Women's Amateur for $170 and be automatically entered into the Junior Girls' championship as well. The Boys Championship (for ages 14 and younger) will be held on Monday, August 24 at Watchung Valley Golf Club in Watchung. The format is 18-holes, stroke play, and it will be played concurrently with the Stroke Play qualifying round of the Junior. Any player aged 14 or younger who enters the Junior will automatically be placed in the Boys championship as well. Click here to enter and for full details.
The Junior Championship has been postponed to Monday-Wednesday, August 24-26 at Watchung Valley Golf Club in Watchung. The format remains the same as originally scheduled. Click here to enter and for full details.
The Mid-Amateur Championship has been postponed to Tuesday-Thursday, October 13-15 at North Jersey Country Club in Wayne. There will be changes to the championship/qualifying structure which will be announced shortly.
The Four-Ball Championship (men's) has been postponed to Tuesday-Thursday, October 27-29 at Manasquan River Golf Club in Brielle. There will be changes to the championship/qualifying structure which will be announced shortly.
The Stoddard Trophy match (an invitational team match between the NJSGA, Long Island Golf Association, and Westchester Golf Association) has been cancelled for 2020.
