NJSGA Amateur Championship - Round 2 Postponed until Wednesday

August 3, 2020 - Due to the forecasted impact of Tropical Storm Isaias which calls for heavy rain and wind throughout the entire day on Tuesday, August 4, round 2 of the New Jersey State Golf Association Amateur Championship at Arcola Country Club has been postponed. Round 2 will be played on Wednesday, August 5.

Weather permitting, round 2 will take place on Wednesday with morning starting times off both the 1st and 10th tees beginning at 7:00 a.m. Revised round 2 starting times will be announced and forwarded by the NJSGA by mid-morning on Tuesday.

After the conclusion of round 2, a cut will be made to the low 40 scorers (plus ties). Round 3 will be played on Wednesday afternoon in groups of two beginning at approximately 2:30 p.m. Round 4 will be played on Thursday morning in groups of two beginning at 7:00 a.m. on the 1st and 10th tees.

If any player wishes to withdraw prior to round 2, the NJSGA kindly asks for your cooperation in advising us as soon as possible since we intend to re-assign round 2 starting times. Please email bradb@njsga.org if you must withdraw from the competition.

Weather permitting, practice facilities at Arcola will open on Wednesday morning at 6:15 a.m.
