N.j.'s Robin Curtis First Female Named To PGA Rules Committee
Robin Curtis, assistant PGA professional at Mountain Ridge Country Club in West Caldwell, has been appointed to the PGA of America Rules Committee and becomes the first female PGA Member to be appointed to the national rules committee.
While Robin’s success as a Class A member over the past 16 years has prepared her for this prestigious position, An active player, Robin was also the first female to qualify for the NJPGA Match Play Tournament.
Among her career accomplishments, Robin has been extremely dedicated to junior golf. In fact, she has remained an A-8 Assistant to allow her to explore many areas of the business in her pursuit of promoting widespread growth and development of the game.
In this regard, she also serves as the varsity golf coach at Newark Academy in Livingston, N.J. As a result of her dedication and contributions to the game, Robin was honored in 2014 as the NJPGA Assistant Professional of the Year (pictured with former NJPJGA president Andy Brock upon receiving that award).
