The 23-year-old Hoffmann managed to finish in 19th place ($207,540) on the Official Web.com Money List, after playing in just 13 events all season. The event that got him a ticket to compete against the best players in the world in 2013, was the Web.com Tour Championship in the end of October. After beginning the week in 31st place on the money list, Hoffmann's final round 7-under 64 for a T3 finish, gave him the boost he needed to break into the top 25 and earn his PGA Tour Card.

Former Oklahoma State University golfer, Hoffmann, is looking to improve his PGA Tour status at the Final Stage of Q-School, which began on Nov. 28th. The event, held at PGA West in LaQuinta, Calif., features 174 top tier players fighting it out over 108 holes (6 Rounds) of Stroke Play, on both the TPC Stadium and Nicklaus Tournament Courses.

The top 25 finishers earn a PGA Tour Card, while the next 50 earn Web.com Tour status.

In 2005, Hoffmann also won the MGA's junior Stroke Play championship, the Carter Cup, at Baltusrol. He recently competed in this year's US Open, at the Olympic Club, with an impressive T29th-place finish.

In yesterday's second round of Q-School Finals, he fired a second consecutive 5-under-par 67 to stand T5 through the first 36 holes.
