MGA Foundation to Offer Internship Program to Ukrainian Students

KENILWORTH, N.J. - The MGA Foundation has developed an intitiative through GOLFWORKS, aimed at assisting Ukrainian students who do not have a home country to return to this summer, while also meeting the demand of seasonal employment at local clubs.

New Jersey based golf clubs such as Spring Brook Country Club, Hollywood Golf Club, Ridgewood Country Club, Mountain Ridge Country Club, Somerset Hills Country Club, Morris County Golf Club, Trump Bedminster, Navesink Country Club as well as other Met Area clubs such as Paramount Country Club and Shelter Island Yacht Club are obligingly participating in the initiative. 

Students will be placed in roles throughout the club throughout the golf season such as working on the grounds crew, golf services, sports program management, waitstaff, kitchen, office and more. 

Clubs interested in participating in this program as well as Ukrainian students who are interested in participating in the program and currently enrolled in an American univeristy or college should contact foundation@mgagolf.org.
