Mcgovern, Gaffney Named To Global Golfpost All-pro Team
Jim McGovern of White Beeches and former Rumson pro Brian Gaffney, now out of New York’s Quaker Ridge, are two of only 10 top PGA club professionals in the nation named to the Global Golf Post All-Pro team.
McGovern, 50, last year qualified for the U.S. Senior Open and was named New Jersey Senior PGA Player of the Year. He won the NJSGA/NJPGA Senior Open last season at Metuchen.McGovern is a former a long-time PGA Tour professional who won once on the Tour.
Gaffney,45, a former State Open champion, was the only club professional who made the cut at the PGA Championship last summer at Whistling Straits.He is a graduate of Montclair State University.
