“I just came into today having a good attitude about how I've been playing recently,” said Betlow. “I’ve been playing some good golf as of lately, and just having fun.”

After missing the cut for match play at the 2022 W.Y. Dear Junior, Betlow worked tirelessly over the winter to fine tune his swing.

“I took a lot of time just honing my iron swing and making sure that in general, I'm really comfortable wherever I put my drive. My putting has changed dramatically even in the past couple months, so that's really helped me out.”

Match play will begin at 7:30 am at Forsgate, where the round of 16 and quarterfinals will be contested.
