Lee's Ace Highlights Member Golf Day At Raritan Valley C.C.
Soo Kyong Lee’s hole-in-one highlighted the New Jersey State Golf Association’s Member Golf Day at the Raritan Valley Country Club in Bridgewater on Monday, June 24.
Lee, a member of Warrenbrook who lives in Hillsborough, aced the par-3, 79-yard seventh hole. A total of 69 golfers took part in the Member Golf Day, the second in a series of six Member Golf Days conduction by the association.
Lee’s score of 40 points in the Net Stableford event tied for third overall with Rural Gusler, who won the third flight on a match of cards. Lee’s hole-in-one was the first ever in the three-year history of NJSGA Member Golf Day events.
Upcoming Member Golf Days are Monday, August 5, at Metedeconk National in Jackson (SOLD OUT); Wednesday, August 21, at Rockaway River on Denville, Monday, October 14, at Upper Montclair in Clifton (SOLD OUT), and Monday, October 14 at Hidden Creek in Egg Harbor Township.
Waiting lists are available for sold-out events.
Robert F. Burke’s 42 was the top score of the day, with Dennis Mull placing second in the first flight with a 41.
In the second flight, Peter Schmitt totaled 38 with Evan Ross Nathanson second with 37 points.
