Jack Wall Wins Genesis Intercollegiate Showcase; Secures Spot in PGA Tour Genesis Invitational
PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. – After a two-hole playoff in a star-studded field, Jack Wall, 2017 New Jersey W.Y. Dear Junior Champion claimed the victory in the Genesis Intercollegiate Showcase on February 13.
His win earned him an amateur exemption into the PGA TOUR Genesis Invitational hosted by Tiger Woods. Wall will tee off on Thursday at 4:10 p.m. ET alongside Yeongsu Kim.
“It was a good finish,” Wall said after his win. “I stayed focused during the playoff and, just to be in contention here and have the chance at a PGA TOUR start, I’m really proud of the way I handled the last couple holes.”
The opening two rounds of the Genesis Invitational will appear on ESPN+ (9:30-4 p.m.) with the afternoon portion (4-8 p.m.) appearing live on Golf Channel. For the weekend, ESPN+ will live stream from 12-1 p.m. (ET) with Golf Channel handling 1 p.m.-3 p.m. (ET). At 3 p.m. (ET) each day CBS picks up live coverage.
