URGENT MESSAGE TO CONTESTANTS ENTERED IN THE NJSGA MID-AMATEUR QUALIFYING SCHEDULED FOR GREENACRES COUNTRY CLUB ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 19:
Due to course conditions and brought upon by late winter snow and excessive early season rain, the New Jersey State Golf Association has changed the host venue for the April 19 Qualifying Round for the NJSGA Mid-Amateur Championship to Mercer Oaks Golf Course (West Course) in West Windsor, NJ. The NJSGA sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience caused by this site change, however we strongly believe that this change is in the best interest of the competition and contestants.
The following options are available to all players:
- ALL PLAYERS IN THE GREENACRES QUALIFIER WILL BE REASSIGNED TO THE MERCER OAKS QUALIFIER, TO BE CONDUCTED ON THE SAME DATE (Wednesday, April 19). If you choose this option, NOTHING is required; you will automatically be assigned to the Mercer Oaks qualifier. ALL STARTING TIMES SHALL REMAIN THE SAME.
- ANY PLAYER WHO WISHES TO WITHDRAW FROM THE EVENT DUE TO THE VENUE CHANGE WILL BE ISSUED A FULL REFUND OF HIS ENTRY FEE. Please advise the NJSGA at 908-241-GOLF or bradb@njsga.org PRIOR TO 12:00 noon on Monday, April 17 if you wish to withdraw.
- THOSE PLAYERS WHO REMAIN IN THE QUALIFIER WILL BE REFUNDED $25.00, which represents the portion of each player’s entry fee that includes his lunch. Food service at Mercer Oaks will be on a CASH-BASIS. A revised Player Information Sheet will be sent to all contestants shortly.
