Gotterup Makes Cut at 122nd U.S. Open Championship

BROOKLINE, Mass. – 2019 New Jersey Open Champion Chris Gotterup put together a solid 1-under par second round in the 122nd U.S. Open to make the cut at The Country Club in Brookline, Massachusetts.
After opening the historic event with a 3-over par 73 on Thursday, Gotterup, of Little Silver bounced back to make the cut by one stroke. His Friday afternoon round was highlighted by a birdie on No. 18. Overall, he recorded three birdies and a pair of bogeys on Friday. He currently sits in a tie for 40th.
