Chris Gotterup Earns 12 Guaranteed Starts on Korn Ferry Tour after Q-School
SAVANNAH, Georgia – 2019 New Jersey Open Champion Chris Gotterup was on a roll at Korn Ferry Tour Q-School this week, competing against some of the most talented in the sport. After an action-packed four days of golf, Gotterup earned himself 12 guaranteed starts through the 2023 season.
His stellar 7-under par 64 third round set him apart from the rest of the pack, landing him in a share for second heading into the final round. In the final round, Gotterup got off to a hot start, carding birdies on five of his first six holes, lifting him into the lead. He proceeded to produce a solid back nine, but a double bogey on No. 15 dropped him back two places in a tie for third.
Finishers 2-10 and ties earned 12 guaranteed starts on the 2023 Korn Ferry Tour. Medalist, Bo Hoag earned fully exempt status for the 2023 season.
