Got Rules?
Do you know all of the relief options available from a lateral water hazard? Do you know what to do if your ball moves on the putting green or if you hit your ball while marking it? No doubt the Rules of Golf are voluminous and complex, but the NJSGA will help you parse through them at two Rules Seminars offered this spring. The first is scheduled for April 7th at the USGA’s Golf House and the second for April 13th at Spring Lake Golf Club. They are open to all golfers from NJSGA member clubs and courses, and are especially useful for golf committee, handicap committee, and Board members as well as club professional staff. These seminars will focus on common Rules situations encountered during everyday play and at NJSGA Championships, and are taught by expert Rules Officials from the NJSGA. Take advantage of this great opportunity to brush up on the Rules before the season gets underway in earnest. For more information and to register, please click here. A nominal fee applies.
