Defending Champion Bill Henry Leads Round One Of The Super-senior Championship

Bill Henry, of Forsgate Country Club, leads the 7th Super-Senior Championship (ages 65+) after Round One with a score of 72, just one over par. Henry, the defending champion, has only played at Glen Ridge once, practicing for today’s tournament.

“It’s a fun course to play. The greens here have a little tilt to them,” said Henry about Glen Ridge Country Club. He shot par on every hole except No. 7, which was a par-4. After using a driver and three wood, he came up short and bogeyed the hole.

Henry enjoyed Glen Ridge as much as his home courses, Forsgate and Shackamaxon, and looks forward to returning tomorrow.
