Boys and girls, ages 7 through 17, are welcome to register for the classes.
Beaver Brook is the seventh venue to offer classes under the auspices of First Tee of Raritan Valley, joining Galloping Hill G.C. in Kenilworth, Tamarack G.C. in East Brunswick, Tara Greens G.C. in Somerset, Basking Ridge C.C., Heron Glen G.C. in Ringoes and Riehl Golf Academy in Whippany.
“The golf business knows how important it is for kids to learn activities that provide lifetime benefits while integrating strong character values”, say Ian Church, General Manager at Beaver Brook Country Club and Associate Board Member of the TFTRV, the charity that emphasizes The First Tee Nine Core Values: honesty, integrity, respect, confidence, responsibility, courtesy, sportsmanship, perseverance and judgment.
Community support is integral to this program and local golf community and teaching professionals will provide a variety of instructional and play opportunities for interested students and families. Parents may also check the Web site: http://www.thefirstteerv.org/ for more information.

"It also teaches participants meeting and greeting skills and to appreciate diversity all while learning to play the great game of golf."
