Baltusrol, Echo Lake Honored By NJSGA Caddie Scholarship Foundation
Baltusrol Golf Club and Echo Lake Country Club were honored as the top donating clubs in respective categories as the New Jersey State Golf Association Caddie Scholarship Foundation acknowledged its 71st year of operation at its annual meeting at Baltusrol in Springfield on June 12, 2018.
For the seventh consecutive year, Baltusrol Golf Club was the top contributing club in New Jersey. In 2017, Baltusrol members contributed $64,450 thanks to the passionate efforts of CSF club representatives Rick Wolffe, Rick Jenkins and Tom Paluck.

Echo Lake Country Club was recognized for its impressive total of Par Club Members, edging out historical top contributors Upper Montclair Country Club and Manasquan River Golf Club. Brian Steller and John Rochford serve as Echo Lake's CSF club representatives.
Members of the Par Club donate at least $100 to the Caddie Scholarship Foundation. In terms of member donors, the most generous clubs were Echo Lake with 479 members contributing, followed by Upper Montclair with 458 and Manasquan River with 426.
The NJSGA Caddie Scholarship Foundation has announced its Caddie Scholarship recipients for the 2018-19 academic year: 151 scholars from 42 member clubs will be recipients of $656,590 in scholarship aid. Awarded were 24 new-in-college applicants and 27 freshman applicants who had an average SAT score of 1184 and 3.49 GPA. The Foundation continues to achieve a 96%+ graduation rate - one of the highest of any Caddie Scholarship program in the nation.
Since its inception in 1947, the NJSGA Caddie Scholarship Foundation has awarded more than $14 million to more than 3,000 caddie scholars.
