2023-24 NJSGA Caddie Scholarship Recipients Announced
KENILWORTH, N.J. - The NJSGA Caddie Scholarship Foundation is proud to announce the recipients of its scholarships for the 2023-2024 academic year. Scholarships were awarded based upon each applicant’s quality and length of service to a member club, academic record, and family’s financial need. The 132 caddie scholars in the Class of 2023 represent 41 clubs from throughout the state.
The freshmen applicants boast an average high school GPA of 3.67, with nearly half of the 31 applicants achieving a perfect 4.0 high school GPA and an average SAT score of 1178.
Applicants currently enrolled in college tout an average GPA of 3.36.
In addition to awarding its Caddie Scholarship, the Foundation also awarded 68 Academic Achievement Awards and the following special scholarships:

Toriello Memorial Scholarship The Caddie Scholarship Foundation is proud to also support 20 NJSGA/Evans Scholars.
“Congratulations to all of this year’s Caddie Scholars for their exceptional academic achievements. Our scholarships continue to provide recipients with opportunities to change their lives through a college education,” said Brian Hunt, Caddie Scholarship Foundation Chairman.
Thanks to the overwhelmingly generous support of member clubs and benefactors, the Foundation raised over $1.3 million in 2022 and awarded over $800,000 in scholarships to CSF and NJSGA/Evans scholars for the 2023-2024 academic year.
The remarkable achievements both in the classroom and on the golf course of these outstanding young men and women will be celebrated at the annual Scholars’ Banquet at NJSGA headquarters at Galloping Hill Golf Club on June 21, 2023.
