2017 NJSGA CSF Annual Meeting Held At Montclair Golf Club At Rock Spring

The NJSGA Caddie Scholarship Foundation acknowledged its 70th year of operation at its annual meeting at the Montclair Golf Club at Rock Spring on June 8, 2017.

For the 6th consecutive year, Baltusrol Golf Club was the top contributing club in the state of New Jersey. In 2016, Baltusrol members contributed $72,250.00 to the Program. The Top 5 Contributing Clubs include:

2. Echo Lake - $49,146.44
3. Canoe Brook - $46,210.00
4. Manasquan River - $43,795.00
5. Upper Montclair - $40,325.00

Manasquan River Golf club was recognized for its impressive total of Par Club Members, edging out historical top contributors Upper Montclair Country Club and Spring Brook Country Club.

The NJSGA Caddie Scholarship Foundation has announced its Caddie Scholarship recipients for the 2017-18 academic year: 147 scholars from 44 member clubs will be recipients of $635,426 in scholarship aid. Awarded were 17 new-in-college applicants and 22 freshman applicants who had an average SAT score of 1237 and 3.62 GPA. The Foundation continues to achieve a 96%+ graduation rate--one of the highest in the nation.
