Ralph Geiger

Ralph E. Geiger was chosen to receive the 2005 NJSGA/NJPGA's Distinguished Service Award. The former president of Suburban Golf Club, Geiger was a fervent supporter of the NJSGA Caddie Scholarship Foundation as a trustee and contributor.

He has also made major contributions to the field of turfgrass science through his support of the turfgrass education program at Rutgers University. The Ralph E. Geiger Turfgrass Research Building at the university's Cook Campus is named in his honor.
