TPC Jasna Polana

Course Description

Jasna Polana was built in the early 1970's as the country home of J. Seward Johnson and his wife Barbara. No effort or expense was spared in the four and a half years it took to build this exquisite property. Designed by world renowned architect Wallace Harrison to resemble a neoclassical country villa, Jasna Polana was built to a standard of elegance from times past, while incorporating all the comforts of the present.

The decision to convert this magnificent estate into a world-class golf and social club was made by Barbara Piasecka Johnson after Jasna Polana was no longer being used as the family's primary residence. Mrs. Johnson's decision to offer her elegant home and extensive grounds to create the Tournament Players Club at Jasna Polana creates an opportunity for those who seek the ultimate golfing and dining experience.

The magnificent 46,000 square foot Jasna Polana Mansion has been converted into the Clubhouse for the TPC Network. Every effort was made to preserve the integrity of the residence while creating beautiful operational areas for golf and social activities. The house features such exceptional appointments as travertine wainscoting and antique flooring, 18th & 19th Century marble mantelpieces, 18th Century English Paneling, and bronze casement windows. Outdoors, the beautifully landscaped grounds - enclosed by approximately one mile of hand-cut stone wall - contain an orchid house, amphitheater, herb garden and reflecting pool.
