1 p.m. to 2 p.m.                 WHS Summary / Q&A
2 p.m.  to 3 p.m.                Quiz

This event will be the first of many training seminars provided by the NJSGA to prepare key staff contacts and club representatives at NJSGA member clubs and courses throughout the state for the changes to come in the new World Handicap System.

The NJSGA staff will provide an in-depth overview of the WHS 'Rules of Handicapping', along with a lengthy question and answer session followed by a short quiz which will complete the mandatory certification for the member club that the attendee represents.

One of the goals of the World Handicap System, similar to the Rules of Golf and Amateur status, is to set up a universal system of handicapping rules throughout the golf world. The good news for golfers accostumed to the USGA Handicap System is that the WHS is very similar, but there are significant changes to be noted, making this education opportunity not to be missed.

Both breakfast and lunch are included for the NJSGA Member Club representatives attending the event.
