Ed and Logan Winsor Capture 101st Father & Son Championship presented by McRae Capital Management
MOUNT LAUREL, N.J. – The duo of Ed & Logan Winsor took home the 101st Father & Son Championship presented by McRae Capital Management at Laurel Creek CC on Tuesday. The Winsors finished the afternoon carding an impressive three-under par, 68 as a team in the select drive and alternate shot format.
The Winsor pair was able to put together a really strong front-nine on which they shot four-under par with five birdies along the way.
“We made a lot of putts and were able to ham and egg it off the tee.” said Logan. “The putting really saved us, I mean, I don’t think we could’ve putted much better.”
Following two quick bogeys on the 10th and 11th holes, the Winsors responded with back-to-back birdies on the 14th and 15th to right the ship.
“We played in this event for the first time last year, but we played out of our minds today,” said Ed. “It was a great day.”
“It was the best experience in golf,” said Logan.
